Unprotected concrete floors can quickly deteriorate after exposure to corrosive chemicals – and it’s not just the extreme chemicals used in heavy industry that can damage coatings, as even food and drink spillages in commercial facilities can spoil a floor finish.

Chemical resistant epoxy flooring

Chemical resistant coatings can maintain a seamless, high quality finish for an extended period of time despite contact with even the most caustic of solvents, acids and alkalis.

The ultimate product selection that we offer is a FeFRA type 8 such as Altro Crete or Resdev Pumadur HF heavy duty polyurethane screed which can be installed from 2mm to 8/9mm thicknesses which is the ideal solution for extremely heavy-duty areas where chemical resistance is of paramount importance. This guarantee comes at 10 or 15 years and a life expectancy of 15-20 years depending upon thickness.

We can offer a polyurethane covering a wall render which, when finished with a colourful grout to seal, provides a secure chemical resistant floor system. When applied to a bunded area protects against spillages and leakages. This solution is ideal for areas where containment is of paramount importance.

Our industrial floor coating includes both high build epoxy coatings, UV stable polyurethane coatings and a highly chemical resistant 3 coat system based on Xoultec technology from BASF and is perfect for both horizontal and vertical surfaces in highly demanding environments including:
