Case Study: Leading Edge Marketing and Print Services

A company offering the best in digital creativity, data analysis, research and production at the leading edge of marketing and print services contacted ACC Flooring to design and remap their storage and walkway areas.

The building had an epoxy coating and demarcation set out which had been designed several years ago but the company had found that as their business evolved this was now outdated. After exchanging ideas with the company, ACC Flooring designed a layout to provide designated areas using colour and demarcation. The existing areas were mechanically prepared using both Vonarx and diamond grinding machinery to remove all laitance. A high build epoxy coating was installed in 2 coats to provide a gloss finish throughout. Demarcation in the form of yellow lines and zebra crossings was added to provide a safe working environment for their employees.

A high build coating is ideal for medium duty areas; typical applications include packaging, warehousing, plant rooms, storage areas and workshops. A non-slip aggregate can be added between coats to provide slip resistance where there is an increased risk of slipping.
