Case Study: Overfinch Customer Experience Centre

ACC Flooring was asked by Overfinch Customer Experience Centre in Birstall, Leeds to carry out the resin flooring installation to the vehicle presentation turntable which is used to display the vehicle prior to the customer collection.

Having seen photographs from our recent decorative flake systems, Overfinch believed that this product would complement their vehicles and would provide an aesthetically eye catching surface appearance.

The existing steel decking was mechanically prepared with enclosed diamond grinders to remove any laitance. A coat of solvent free, high build epoxy coating was applied and whilst wet decorative acrylic flakes in Nimbus was fully broadcast into the coating and allowed to cure overnight. The excess flakes were then swept off, a coat of Altro Screed standard seal followed by a coat of Altroseal UVR matt seal were installed to complete the installation.

The decorative flake system is a medium duty wear classification and has a life expectancy of 8 years and is ideal for reception areas, corridors, walkways and communal areas and has the advantages of low odour, good chemical resistance, good abrasion resistance to light traffic areas, optional matt and gloss finishes and ease of cleaning.
